our strategy for giving the financial resources
necessary over three years to expand our facilities
in order to accomodate recent growth and prepare

SPIRITUAL
GROWTH Our first prayer is that
this campaign would inspire and equip you to take
your spiritual life to the NEXT level. Our passion
is for East Side Baptist Church (ESBC) to be a place
where people can discover, experience, and live
out the abundant life found only in Jesus Christ.
NUMERICAL GROWTH
Our second prayer is that this campaign
would enable us as a church to take our influence
in this city and the world to the NEXT level by
expanding our facilities. Our passion is for ESBC
to be a healthy growing church that is reaching
an increasing number of people with the Good News
of Jesus Christ. |

| PASTOR'S
LETTER |

Dear Church Family,
We have come to a defining moment in the life of
ESBC. God has given us a HUGE vision…a vision
that includes building a new Worship Center in order
to take our influence for Christ, in this city and
beyond, to the NEXT level.
As your Pastor, my heart’s desire is to lead
us, individually and corporately, to reach our full
potential in Christ. God doesn’t want us to
settle for being a good church. He wants us to be
a GREAT church! I’m trusting God to use the
NEXT level campaign in furthering that end.
This campaign is all about God’s desire to
take ESBC to the NEXT level. It is an opportunity
to step forward in faith and see our faith rewarded.
I love what the Lord says in Joshua 3:5 as His people
were about to cross over the Jordan River into the
Promised Land: “[Get ready]...for tomorrow
the LORD will do amazing things among you.”
I share that verse for two simple reasons. First,
this campaign is all about us getting ready, just
like God told his people to do before they crossed
the Jordan. We want you to be spiritually ready
to “cross the Jordan”; to be obedient
to the Lord however He may lead you in this process.
Second, I believe the LORD is about to do amazing
things among us. Of course, He already has, and
is, but there is even more that awaits us.
So, get ready! Pray with me that the NEXT level
Capital Campaign will glorify God as He does amazing
things in and through us.

FOUNDATION WEEKEND - CECIL SIMS MESSAGES |

| The Spiritual Foundation Weekend was
a special time during the campaign to dig into what
the Bible has to say about financial stewardship
and principles for church building programs. Cecil
Sims, a respected and experienced teacher in the
area of stewardship, led our church through five
sessions on Biblical financial principles. |
