Building Team Needs |

East Side's expansion project
will utilize a mixture of contractors and volunteer
building teams. The rigid frame building as well
as the electrical, HVAC, insulation, and plumbing
systems will be done by contractors. Volunteer
crews and church members will be utilized for
a variety of needs:
- exterior Hardi lap siding (up to 8')
- exterior Hardi panel siding at entries (up
to 20')
- exterior canopy and awnings construction
- interior wall furring (on all perimeter walls),
restroom framing, room framing, partition wall
framing, stage buildout, etc.
- door setting
- baptistery buildout
- front of house (soundbooth - 24' x 9') buildout
- coffee and welcome counter buildout
- drywall and drywall finishing
- painting
- acoustic panel and cloud construction (135+
pieces)
- finish and trim work
- concrete floor staining
- landscaping

| The metal building began going up
in February 2011. Volunteers teams will be utilized
in the spring and summer of 2011. |

| The building is a 10,750 square foot
new worship building. The exterior will be clad
with vertical metal siding on the top half, horizontal
cement fiber board lap siding on the lower half,
and cement fiber board stucco look panels on the
entries. |

| The worship center will initially
seat 300 and eventually be expanded to 400 with
a future balcony. Some of the details of the worship
center include: a 30" stage, stained concrete
floors, an exposed black ceiling for a theatrical
feel, suspended acoustic clouds for sound quality,
a large front of house (sound booth), 6' aisles,
and a mom's room. The lobby will be spacious and
will eventually be expanded to include mezzanine
seating areas. Some of the details of the lobby
include: restrooms with 6 stalls each, a large coffee/welcome
counter, an entry window wall, lots of additional
windows, and stained concrete floors. |

crews with housing among church members, food as
needed, etc. Volunteer team coordination will be
